Seattle and Portland

A great day away, already planned.

Leave in the morning with a driver who knows the stops. Come home that evening. You do not build the route, watch the parking, or keep the group on schedule.

Send a request with your group size, pickup, and the day you want. We reply to confirm it. The form does not take payment and does not hold the date.

You show up

One pickup point in your city. The street address is confirmed after we accept the request, not posted here.

The day is set

Viewpoints, a town stop, and time for lunch. If a place is closed, there is a fallback. Nothing on these days requires a hard hike.

You are home tonight

Same-day return. Meals are yours to buy. The day is the ride and the plan, not a restaurant reservation.

From Seattle

Two days that start and end in the Seattle area. One stays close, at Snoqualmie. One runs north to Deception Pass without a ferry.

Snoqualmie Falls seen from the public viewpoint, with mist above the river.

Seattle · 7–8 hours

From Portland

The Columbia River Gorge, or Cannon Beach. Both are out in the morning and back in Portland the same day.

Vista House on Crown Point above the Columbia River Gorge.

Portland · 7–8 hours

Portland: Waterfalls & the Columbia River Gorge

A same-day loop from Portland to Crown Point and waterfall viewpoints in the Gorge. Multnomah Falls is on the plan only when access and parking actually allow it.

  • Vista House at Crown Point
  • A waterfall viewpoint without a required hike
  • Multnomah Falls only if access allows

Easy to moderate

Haystack Rock and the beach at Cannon Beach under a bright sky.

Portland · 9–10 hours

Portland: Cannon Beach Coastal Escape

A same-day drive from Portland to Cannon Beach for the view of Haystack Rock, town time, and the ocean. Tide pools are not the plan, and the surf is not a playground.
